Share Your World – March 5, 2018

What did you or did not like about the first place you lived without your parents?

What is your most favorite smell/scent?

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

What did you or did not like about the first place you lived without your parents?  I liked that it was mine.  I moved from southern California to Denver, Colorado.  My little apartment overlooked a little park with small pond.  I learned to run around that pond for some exercise and outdoor time.  There isn’t anything I didn’t like about that apartment, except maybe it’s teeny tiny kitchen that felt more like a closet.

What is your most favorite smell/scent?  Redwoods in the rain, actually any forest.  Their needles have a most wonderful scent. Also I adore a fresh ocean breeze.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?  No I’m not a snow bunny in any sense of the word.  As a kid I was, but now since I’m an adult, if it snows that is when you find me inside my house.

This past Friday, we had dinner at a friends house and had a wonderful time.  She made us stir fry for dinner and it tasted delicious.  We got to meet her dog Oscar for the first time too.  This past week was a wonderful week.

  1. No snow bunnies here, either. But since our not liking it has nothing to do with the actual weather, we deal with it. It comes with the territory and little as I like the weather, I really love New England.

  2. I use to love the smell of home made bread and biscuits my dad use to make. The photo here doesn’t look the same as he use to make, but it’ll have to do. Here is my post for this week’s share your world challenge.

  3. My mums house had several armed woods when she moved there about 20 years ago. Too big and too close to the house. She is in Country Victoria so plenty of trees otherwise. Cheers,H
