Share Your World – March 12, 2018

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?

What sound or sounds do you love?

What’s your middle name?  Why?

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?  I would buy us a new car.  Some of you know our car is getting old.  I believe we have a 2004 Ford Explorer.  It’s time to get a new vehicle.  We’d play with the rest if there is anything left.

Tillamook Cheese Factory also makes ice cream which is delicious. One of the happiest sounding places I’ve ever been too.

What sound or sounds do you love?  Ocean waves is one of my favorite sounds.  I also love to hear the sounds in an ice cream store, because the chatter is always upbeat.  People of all ages turn into kids.

What’s your middle name?  Why?  There is a story to my middle name.  I am lucky because when I was in my mid twenties I legally changed my name.  So I had the opportunity to pick my first, last and middle name.  Christine, my full first name, is simply because I just like the name.  Ruth is my middle name.  My maternal grandmother was named Ruth and so was the woman who mentored me when I was a teenager and young adult.  My last name Neuner was my grandmother’s maiden name.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Oh last week was so fun for me on my blog.  Each and every one of you added to the fun.  I was interviewed by Cheri Lucas Rowlands and her article was published last Tuesday.  You all are so wonderful to me and I am honored to know each of you.  Last week will no doubt be a highlight of 2018.

Qi (energy) hugs

  1. 🙂 Dear Cee,

first of all congratulations on the interview. I just read it and think it’s great.
I have learned a lot from blogging and having to take pictures for my blog. It seems that I look at the world from a different angle when looking through my camera’s little lense. I guess I could do with a better camera one of these days, but I like the little one that I can carry with me almost anywhere.
I’m always looking forward to Mondays and your SYW questions. Thanks for setting up all these challenges for us!

I’ll post my answers to your challenge tomorrow. Some of our answers are nearly identical. Wait and see, Cee 😉

    Have a very HAPPY week!
    Claudia 🙂

  2. I had never thought about how people sound in an ice cream shop but for sure you would not find many unhappy people in there. How interesting that you got to pick a whole new name for yourself.
