Share Your World – April 2, 2018

What was or is your favorite cartoon?

Which cooking utensil (other than the usual pots and pans etc) would you miss the most?

Would you dare to sleep in haunted house overnight?

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

What was or is your favorite cartoon?  Strange I picked the haunted house question too.   Because I think my favorite cartoon was Casper the Friendly Ghost as a kid.  A close second would have been Roadrunner.  As an adult I rarely watch shows or movies that are cartoon or CGI in nature.  For a movie, it is probably Bambi because I saw it when I was around 5 years old.

Which cooking utensil (other than the usual pots and pans etc) would you miss the most?

Probably my 8 cup measuring cup.  I use it as a bowl for when I make whole grain and seed waffles for me.  I make Chris whole grain and nut waffles.  I would have to include the huge risk I use for mixing the batter too.

Would you dare to sleep in haunted house overnight?  Yes, I probably would sleep in a haunted house.  It would be cool.

Going to the tulip festival was a lot of fun this past week.  Since the tulips weren’t in full bloom yet, I was able to capture some people just having a lot of fun.  Chris and I got there right as they were closing.  We enjoyed getting a cheese burger and elephant ears while we watched kids of all ages enjoy the festivities.

        1. I’d love a story to tell. Actually I lived in a house once that both my mom and I could see the ghost of a lady. It was kind of spooky, but then she was never harmful or got in the way.

          1. You just reminded me of my first house, where we’d hear cupboard doors opening and closing at night and every once in awhile, the piano keys would tinkle, as if they were being walked on by a cat – except we didn’t have a cat then and when we got one, it slept with us. Yet I slept fine there – guess it’s the aging thing. Or I answered incorrectly.
