Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles

This week the topic is Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles.  This is a topic you can really have enjoy.  Your cars, trucks or motorcycles can be anything from brand new to vintage.  Toys are also allowed in for this challenge.   Let’s see how creative you can get.  I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

  • Older than 50 years
  • Any kind of seating
  • Two very different things or the number two
  • Close ups
  • Looking through a Window
  • Words that end in “ock” (rock, dock, clock, hollyhock, gridlock, stock, unlock, wedlock, block)

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white
  • Desaturated – very little color tone left in your photo

      1. Great set of photos, Cee! So you know, the placard at the bottom right of the tanker with the number 1203 (flammable liquid) indicates it is filled with gasoline. But I think it is much more fun to imagine it full of hot coffee. So, your next assignment is to find a giant roadside coffee cup or pot to accompany this image in another post. 😉

  1. This is such a fun idea! I love the black and white pictures…I think the one of the “best coffee” is my favorite…but that might be because I really want coffee right now lol.

  2. Hi Cee. Here is my entry for this week’s black & white challenge.. In the one you can see the twin peaks of Colima volcano in the background. The one with the snow is known as “Ice” and the active sister peak pictured is “Fire.” Collectively referred to as “Fire and Ice” I can see them from my house and have to pass them every year on my way to and from the beach.
