I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

List things or events that changed your life?

  • Meeting Chris (1989)
  • Grief Recovery Class (this past January)
  • Getting back in touch with my sister and her family (2016)
  • My coma (2001)

Complete this sentence: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s…Douglas DC3A N115SA originally began her extraordinary flying career as a British Royal Air Force Douglas Dakota Mk. III – serial number KG 587.  This plane was restored at the Aurora Airport, Oregon by Aerometal International LLC.  She is an old WWII airplane.

What genre of music do you like?

Don’t know about a genre, but I like the 70s soft pop or country pop the best.  Musicals are always fun too.  I do listen to meditative type or new age music too.  I really haven’t listened to modern music at all.

This last week was fairly quiet.  Nothing real big was on our to do list.  It was rainy all week so I didn’t go out to the tulip festival.  We are planning on this week, the weather should be better.  The thing is when it stays this cool, rainy and cloudy, the tulips don’t open.  Although the fields will be showing color.

  1. It is interesting how few of us listen to “the latest” music. Is it our age? Or is that music not nearly as good as the music we like? I tend to the latter opinion. I think a lot of new music isn’t very good. Kids like it because kids always like “the latest stuff,” good or bad. But I grew up with classical, learned to love folk, and drifted into all music with a good melody that is MUSICAL.

    1. I figure part of it is that lots of current music contains no lyrics (I recall when the techno/dance trend started and how we complained about the lack of lyrics) and the other half is being older and unable to understand a single word of what the singers are saying. I was watching SNL with CardiB a week ago… had closed captions on to try to have a clue of what she says but even the CC person gave up and just started posting music symbols.

  2. The major one was cancelling a seat on a flight that had no survivors. No, apart from Su-u-u-u-u-u-perman, it’s me as a pre-teen aviator!
Very classical; This week, back to Beethoven.
The latest kitten is a constant joy.
