    • Oh Bernadette, don’t ever be intimidated to post your photos. Your daffodil was gorgeous for this week. I don’t expect everyone to be an expert in photography, let along flowers, which happen to be my passion. 😀

  1. Amazing photos, Cee! I like this B&W challenge because it’s interesting and fun to play around with different filters and see what works for each photo. Some are great in straight B&W, while others need muted color. And some photos just don’t work well in B&W at all. When I first learned photography in high school, all I did was black & white. There was color then, but I only knew how to develop black & white photos. I think I had to look more carefully at my subjects, using light and shadow to greater effectiveness.

    • You learned a valuable lesson back then. I love playing the different filters too in post processing. They can really change how a photo looks. 😀

  3. Hey there. I may have told you this, but I got hacked and my PC is off until it is fixed which I HOPE will be tomorrow. Meanwhile, I don’t have any pictures to work with and all my good processing stuff is on the PC. I’ve got files in WordPress, but all the new stuff is on the other computer. I’m doing the best I can in the meantime. I really MISS my computer, but I got so seriously hacked that I got called by both Microsoft AND Dell because the hacker is on their “hot list.” Most of my online accounts are blocked, too and will stay that way until I find a way to get these hackers out of my system. They didn’t some in “the usual way.” This isn’t a virus — these are actual hackers.

I’ll write more when the problem is fixed, but until then, I’m keeping my head down. It’s brutal getting hacked!

  4. Lovely pictures. I like the shapes of the blooms. Not many flowers left in my garden now it is nearly winter but plenty in the photo archives.which is where my entry will probably come from.
