  1. That really reminds me of the painted VW buses from the 1960s that all looked like some version of the Beatle’s “Yellow Submarine.” Great pictures! And wonderful, happy memories, too.

  2. I like the disclaimer on the side. Of course, my mind is rugby trained and I immediately thought: “Well, what else is he then? A fly half or a scrum half or a full back? 😉 But a great find. I had to google pang wangle an this is the best I could come up with: “To live or go along cheerfully in spite of minor misfortunes.” Is that it or is there another meaning?

      1. Maybe make a book of interviews and photos of intriguing vans–there are certainly a lot that come through Woodstock NY here, and I am sure there are many in your area too.
