Share Your World – May 28, 2018

If you were to pack a basket for pinic lunch, what would be in your basket?

On a vacation what you would require in any place that you sleep?

If you were to buy a new house/apartment what is the top three items on your wish list?

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

If you were to pack a basket for pinic lunch, what would be in your basket?  First of all I would find a picnic table so I wouldn’t have to bring a blanket to sit on the ground with.  And since this is a SYW fantasy, calories don’t count.   I would have pack an assortment of cheese, pre-sliced, fresh bread of various types.  I would make sure there are plenty of nuts for Chris.  Lots of water or Sparkling Cider.  I would have dark chocolate for me.

On a vacation what you would require in any place that you sleep?  A comfortable bed and air conditioning.  Hotels can get so stuffy, I need the air fresh.  Sometimes at the beach, there is enough wind to keep the air fresh inside, but a good air conditioner is always nice.

If you were to buy a new house/apartment what is the top three items on your wish list?  Little to no yard work, a nice area to have our offices, two bathrooms.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.   I had a nice week last week.  I hurt my knee so I was rather quiet and didn’t do a lot, but I was able to spend time with Chris and we had some wonderful conversations.

  1. I’m with you on the air conditioning in the hotel. And I hope your knee feels better! At least it gave you more time for good conversation.

    1. My knee is actually healing real fast. I’m back to walking normal. I was on the trampoline (small indoor one) yesterday and I can feel stiffness in my knee. So I’m taking it easy again today. 😀

  2. I’d actually opt for a window that I can open rather than air conditioning, refrigerated air makes me not breath well, but that’s something that’s particular to me. ^_^

Cheese and chocolate are good thing for a picnic… and yes for not sitting on the ground.

  3. Hi Cee. I’ve never attempted one of your SYW challenges before, so please forgive me if I did it wrong. I adore your many prompts. Besf, Babsje

  4. good call on the A/C. when I stayed in Costa Rica last year, I could see the waves from my balcony but the 105F w/humidity made being outdoors horrible and the a/c in the room just barely kept me from melting.
Here at home, it often hits over 100F in summer, with my house going into the 110F range. Normally, the beach breeze keeps me comfy but for it to hit those temps, the breeze has to be gone. No A/C in the house so I typically spend the day nekked and moving as little as possible!

  5. I never read your answers before I post, so when we end up with similar answers, it surprises me. You would be so easy to please with a new home. I had not thought of air conditioning in my vacation room, but it would be nice, although in moderate climates I would prefer to be able to open a window.

    1. I don’t mind the window open as long as there is a breeze. I was at Astoria in a fancy hotel and they didn’t have air, I opened the window but there was no breeze so it ever cooled down. It remained hot and stuffy. 😀
