My Entry for the Week
Half a pile of firewood. I thought the circle in the middle was a clever design.
This bench with the design of two arched swans is so elegant. Photo taken in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
United States Courthouse building in Tacoma, Washington.
These trees at the tulip farm make an almost perfect dome.
Grocery bag with circle design cropped to two half circles.
Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
You have some beautiful domes!

Since Becky is doing roofs I didn’t what to use only roofs for my entry, so I thought I’d try and get out of the box … so to speak.

It’s hard to find arches around here. New England is not the home of arches or even semi-circles. But there are some in Boston, and my friend Ben got two sets in Phoenix … and one comes from a small college in Maryland. I love architecture, but unless you count clapboard churches, this isn’t an arches kind of place 🙂
I think they may have used your Washington courthouse as the idea for the new courthouse they build in Boston a few years ago. They look very similar. Unfortunately, I never took a picture of it so I couldn’t use it here.

Canby is pretty much the same way. Two stories houses and two story commercials buildings is the extent of it. We have a few houses from the late 1800s but that is about it. 😀

Your collection this werk is amazing! When I saw the challenge I cringed. I honestly didnt think I had anything to contribute out of my 6000+ photos…on my phone but was surprised to find how many I actually did have! Not as creative as yours but fits the bill.
