This week the topic is Benches.  This is a topic you can really have enjoy.   Let’s see how creative you can get.  I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white
  • Desaturated – very little color tone left in your photo

  1. I checked up on the Dorymen’s Association and what I learned is that it is charitable organisation in the northwest of the USA. I found doryboats (on their site) but what are (or were) doryboats used for and what did dorymen do? Catch John Dorys? I’m intrigued although their bench doesn’t look to comfy. I much prefer the white one in the third photo.

  2. Summertime is perfect bench time 🙂 I realized that Garry had taken a few dozen “bench pictures” the last time we were out … and I hadn’t processed almost any of them. So he’s the star of this show — tomorrow!

  3. Hi Cee, I like it when I read your suggestion and I think, “I know just which photo I’m going to use.”
    Many times I think, “I don’t have anything for that.” Then I go hunting and surprise. There it is.
