I know I am on vacation, but as new photo challenges start, I just have to play along. Minding My P’s with Q started a new challenge and it is all about weather vanes. Something I’ve not taken lot of photos of, so I will have to start.
Each Wednesday, post a photograph of a Weather Vane with a short description of where it can be found and any history connected to it. The main focus of the challenge is the photo of the Weather Vane and the location. The challenge can be Wordless if that is what you choose.
Here is mine for this week. I know I have posted these before, but thought it would be a great way to enter this challenge. This broken weather vane is on top of a little home made bus stop. These little bus stops are quite common to see for those people with children who live in the country. It protects their kids from getting wet in our rain while waiting for the school bus.

What a great weather vane and bus stop. Thanks so much for playing along Cee. I love the paint colors and sunflowers on the bus stop. What a cheerful place for children to wait for the bus.

The paint colors is what drew me to take a photo. That poor weather vane though. 😀

I luv it..the diminutive size of the shack makes the vane look huge.
Thanks!
