Changes in my Challenges

I will only be running three challenges from this point forward.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Tuesday

Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge – Thursday

Flower of the Day – Daily

I was thinking about making these changes at the first of 2019.  But my new pug, Miss Digi, needs some extensive surgery and that will occupy my time for the next couple of months. She won’t be able to walk for 8 weeks.  She needs to have both of her knees fixed in her hind legs.  She was born with them constantly falling out of joint, and without the surgery she would spend over half of her life in a lot of pain.  Doctor says she will need a lot of TLC, which between Chris and I will have plenty to give her.

My life is slowly starting to change directions and this will give me the time I need to do other things.  Plus, there are now so many challenges I want to participate in, I simply don’t have the time.

I sure hope you will still participate in my challenges.

These challenges are closed

If anyone would like to take over any of these challenges please feel free to do so.  For the Love of Challenges

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Qi (energy) hugs

Cee

  1. Aw!!! I would LOVE to take over the Share Your World challenge. I’ll plan to start Monday Sept 3rd if that’s okay? I sort of did snag it once already this summer with my “unofficial SYW” posted while you were on vacation. Healing thoughts and peace to Ms. Digi. 😦 It’s so sad to me that some breeds have these costly issues. Is Ms. Digi a purebred? Blessings to you and Chris too…and of course it’s all going to go well! ❤

    1. It would be awesome if you would continue SYW. I really do love that challenge. If you link to me the first time or two. I’ll reblog your SYW challenge. That should help get people directed you instead of me.

      1. I shall! Great! 😀 Ms. Digi is a sweetheart. Is the puppy to be a companion for her or are you getting another pup, one that doesn’t potentially have the problems? It is heart breaking when a lovely animal has health problems.

        1. It is heartbreaking. We have always had two pugs in the past and they do tend to keep each other company. I just wanted them about 2 years apart. Digi is a 1-1/2 years old, so a new puppy would be ideal.

    2. She is a purebred. The breeder has been working with us. This is new issue with her. Our breeder know we are looking for a puppy to so she will give us a puppy of our choice when Digi heals up from her surgery. Our breeder is now checking all puppies for this knee issue. Puppies cost about the same as a new puppy so that’s a fair trade off.

  2. Thanks for hosting these fun challenges in the past, Cee. Poor little Digi. I’m sorry she has to have that surgery. Our Maltese, Emmy, had that luxating patella when she was young. We were lucky, though, in that she outgrew it and ended up not needing the surgery. Little Digi is blessed to have you guys to look after her. Prayers that she heals quickly! 😻

  4. I’m torn as to should I put a “Like” on this post or not, I’m glad you shared MissDigi’s problems and future with us, But it’s not the kind of news I “Liike” to hear.

    (for Miss Digi)
your new ‘mom’ is taking care of you, and you will feel Great soon. And the rest of her readers are pulling for you too. Be sure to give her a good lick to show you appreciate what she’s doing for you.

  5. This bums me out. Both about the challenges and your pup. Life takes precedence though, so I hope things turn out well for your baby. I’d consider taking over the oddball Challenge, as that’s one of my faves. I really hate to see that one go. Let me know, and maybe some announcement could made? Just a thought. 😊

      1. Thanks, Cee! I’ve never really been host of anything before, but I think it’d be kinda fun. If they’re interested in doing the Oddball Challenge, I may take over the Which Way Challenge instead? I really like that one as well. Those were your babies, so you tell me. 😃

        1. Hosting is great fun. I’ve sure enjoyed it over the years, and obviously still do, because i am keeping some of them. I would love it if you took over which way. IF you need any help please feel free to contact me. If I can support you in any way, I will be more than glad to do so … even if it is just a reblog. 😀

  8. Oh, poor little Digi! I’m sure all will go well with her surgery, and then she won’t have to have this problem bothering her for years.
It’s been so fun doing your challenges, and I’m glad to hear there are others who are willing to continue in your absence.
Best wishes for you and Chris, and all the pet babies! ❤

  9. Poor puppy. I hope the surgery will work out well and I know she will get lots of love and TLC from you and Chris. I completely understand about the challenges. I don’t know how you have kept so many going so long. You do awesome work. I see a couple have already offered to pick up some of them so that’s great news too.

  10. I certainly hope all goes well for your little dog. I understand perfectly about needing to give up some of the challenges. The online activities can get to be extremely time and energy consuming. You’ve always done a great job with them. And it’s very nice of you to provide a list of other bloggers’ challenges.

And thank you for all the inspiration you have provided, including assembling a list of all the challenges available. There is definitely something for everyone. I’m going to break out one day and do your B&W challenge one day. 🙂

  13. Even though I cannot participate too often (I am amazed you could do as many challenges as you were doing), the oddball was my favorite. So, yes, if someone else decides to host it, I would love to know about it. Will you leave the old ones on your website, so we can still read them?

      1. Yes, I remember your posting about taking a trip to get her. I hope she recovers and is healthy quickly. I know you and Chris must have already bonded with her. Miss Digi is fortunate to have you both to care for her. Blessings 🙏🏻

        1. We could have given her back to the breeder, but you are right we are already bonded with her …. she is such a sweetheart. 😀 The breeder is going to give a puppy out of one of her pug litters after she heals up. She knew we wanted another puppy to be a companion for her. Long story but I feel real comfortable with the breeder.

  14. I’m sorry to hear about Miss Digi. Dogs can be so brave and it sounds as if she’s had a hard life until now. I’m sending my best wishes to you all and hope she’ll recover more quickly than you expect.

  16. I hope all goes well Cee. I am glad their are takers for Odd Ball and Which Way challenges two of my favourites. I too have not been well, just a persistent cold that has left me vague and my concentration levels are shot.
I do hope that when whoever picks up on the challenges lets you know and you can let us know. I already follow sonofabeach so that’s sorted. I wouldn’t want to miss out on Odd Ball.
    Love and peace brian

  18. I hope your young charge will get fit rapidly. It’s also sometimes its good to reassess when you’ve given yourself too much to do – I refer to the many challenges that you have been running and that we all appreciate 🙂 Thank you for all of them and thank you for passing some of them on to others to carry the torch. I will continue to support by taking part when I can both for you and your willing colleagues. Thanks for everything Cee 🙂

  19. I’ve been meaning to write to thank you for being such a diligent and inspiring creator of challenges. I may not always respnd, but they always make me think. How great that nobody wants to see your themes abandoned and some people have volunteered to ‘adopt’ them. See what you started?! Thank you!
