My Entry for the Week

Seattle Space Needle in Washington State

People visits parks in general.  Joseph Wood Hill Park in Portland Oregon.

People visit the mountains.  This is a photo I took of Mt. Saint Helen’s in the winter.

People visit lighthouses.  This is a photo of Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee

  2. Wonderful photos, Cee. I particularly love the space needle. Many years ago when my boys were in grade 6, they had to build a landmark as an exhibit. Guess who helped her son built a space needle?

  3. I adore the lighthouse, and I loved the lamp post, too. Light lit for others always has a comforting aspect beyond the illumination itself. 🙂
Here’s my contribution, from a trip to Thailand this past August. This little rock in the middle of the ocean is called “Sawatdi-kha Island/Rock” because of the way it resembles the palms pressed in the everyday Thai greeting.

  4. My husband has a very similar shot of the Space Needle that he took his first week here. It’s very photogenic. ^_^ We’ve been out here for five years now, and I haven’t been to the Space Needle yet. Nice pictures!

    • I’ve been in Seattle twice. Once for a weekend seminar, so no sightseeing involved. The other was when I got this photo. We didn’t have time to go up it, because we basically went to take the Duck Tour. That was fun. 😀
