My Entry for the Week
I live in a small town with only country roads around me, so I decided to show off houses in rural areas.
A house in Depoe Bay, Oregon.
A house in Wilsonville, Oregon along the Willamette River.
A house in Oregon City, Oregon.
A house along Siletz River, Oregon, note the stilts for when the river overflows.
Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
Beautiful houses! The first one, the house in Depoe Bay, is kind of close to the waters …

Oh it is right over the ocean. What is not shown on this fairly close up, is the cave that is underneath. 😀

These are not the run of the mill houses Cee.

That’s what I was hoping for. 😀

Any house that close to the water would be great. 😃

I wouldn’t mind living in one of those houses, especially the one on stilts. I was born and bred and live in a city, and I sometimes yearn for a simpler life in the countryside. Actually, I’d love to live in a tree-house 🙂

I would love to live in a tree house too. The silts house is a cool one. 😀

People called the village of Carn Euny home for 900 years, and then abandoned it 1600 years ago. http://bit.ly/CEuny

On yours, I want the house with the rainbow and the cave! (but would ‘settle’ for any)

I love looking at interesting houses and I especially like timber ones so I love these. I hope that the people who live in the stilt house don’t keep anything valuable in the shed/garage though if the water goes over the bank often.

It probably over flows every couple of years. They could probably part their car up on the road.

I’ll take plenty of land in the forest with a river nearby, with no thread of flooding.
