I’m partial to the B&W portrait this week, Cee. She seems to be deep in thought while watching someone else and totally unaware of you concentrating on her. A fine example for us to follow on this topic.

IF I can get my act together, I am thinking about starting a once a week challenge for candid photography, or what we used to call “snapshots.” It would be all pictures which were taken without planning using any equipment from phones to cameras. People, animals, whatever. Sort of like this challenge, really. Not so much oddball as unposed.
What do you think? It wouldn’t be until February in any case because I’m booked up through January. But I think in the spring (the second half of March maybe), I can room in my schedule. You think? I know this stuff tends to get out of control very fast, which is why I’m giving it a fair amount of thought before doing anything. All ideas gratefully received.

I think it would make a great challenge. I’m glad you are including people an animals. As all animals are candid for the most part. Some pets maybe not, but …. I would not use the word snapshot though you will tend to get real bad quality. I hope you get some time to do it.
