My first tulip bud of the year. This was in a small pot in a nursery near me. The tulips were only an inch out of the soil.
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I am trying to “think spring” while we are in the deep freeze, so thank you for the beautiful tulips!

It’s a tulip day today. Spring is on its way. Hope they do not freeze in the States with the Polar air. Yours look quite healthy and ready to go.

We are not being effected by the weather at all. Today we are sunny and mid 40’s to upper 40’s.

Beautiful – but if you’re expecting what the East Coast/Mid West is this week i think an inch is about 6 inches too much!!
Those tulips need to duck for cover or better yet move indoors under a blanket! 😉

Love your photo! Nothing says spring is around the corner like seeing tulips at a nursery or the grocery store. Today it’s record-breaking cold -22 degrees C, which is -37 with the windchill factor. I might just pick me up some tulips today!

Yikes that is cold. Way to cold for my blood. We are in the low 40s (fahrenheit) right now.

I can’t wait for my tulips to spring into bud. Fingers crossed the expected cold snap won’t spoil them as it did last year. My camellias are doing battle with the wind and the daffs are holding their own so far. As for the rest, time will tell.

Its way to early for my camellias and diffs yet. 😀

The 2 shades of green really stand out in this photo, I haven’t seen any tulips in the store yet

I was actually surprised to see tulips this early, but oh so pleased. 😀

Yes, I saw tulips in the supermarket and knew the winter is coming to an end. Obviously these tulips are not the flower of today but I’ll be back at this spot in April. https://photographyocd.com/2017/04/27/impermanence-revisited/
