I had insomnia the other night so I got out of bed, and at that point I vanished to the nearest lake to watch the sunrise. The waiting is the hardest part. https://photographyocd.com/2019/04/18/the-vanishing/

Great streets. That last one is mesmerizing. It’s a bridge – but how steep is it?
LikeLike
It is real steep. Kind of scary to drive or be a passenger until you get used to it 😀

Intriguing, I’d really like to see that.

The bridge is 4.2 miles long. It crosses the Columbia River fairly close to where the river joins the Pacific Ocean. 😀

Nice bridge shot. I can only hope it doesn’t get windy on that water!

That last one is playing with my balance. If you have the time I’d like to know where it ia and how you get such an angle.

I was in the passenger seat of our car when I took that photo. The tallest part of the bridge is in Astoria Oregon and it crosses the Columbia River over to Washington State. The bride is 4.1 miles long. You can look it up, it is called the Atsoria-Megler Bridge. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astoria–Megler_Bridge

Great vanishing points, Cee, and you’ve managed to combine them with curves and slopes too. I like images with strong lines and love your selection, but especially the dizzying bridge.
I was out walking yesterday and on the constant lookout for something suitable for the challenge. Then I found a great wooden bridge leading to peace and quiet in a nature reserve: https://travelwithintent.com/2019/04/19/across-peffer-burn-aberlady-bay-nature-reserve-scotland/

Until I read the comments above about that steep bridge, I was under the impression that it’s some photoshop trick 🙂

No, it was not a photo trick 😀

I love the tracks and that bridge…WOW, I wonder what it is like to haul a horse trailer up and down that.
