FOTD – May 25, 2019 – Rhododendron

Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Please continue to post your entries on my daily post.  Here is a link to my  FOTD page.  Thanks.

Photo taken with my new Sony A7III Mirrorless Full Frame (ILCE-7M3 v2.10).  Sony 18-200mm lens.

The end of season for this bush this year.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

    1. I rarely, if ever, use a tripod. I’m fortunate I have a very steady hand and know how to hold a camera correctly and breathe right too. I’ve not really gotten a good photo shoot yet, because of this silly cold that doesn’t end. But I’m really happy with the A7III 😀 I’ve ha the A7II since it came out, I pre-ordered it. And the clarity on this one is awesome.

  1. That’s an amazing color for a Rhododendron! I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in orange. Maybe it’s the location — or you have a really great plant breeder! I’m impressed.

    1. There are a couple around here. I’m calling this a rhodie, but I really am not too sure. It was a small tree/bush in my yard when we moved here. It looked dead, but over the years it has gotten healthier. So it is either an azalea, but the leaves don’t look like it. There is a thin possibility it is a tulip tree. This far north they are smaller than in the tropics. So ….

  2. Love the colour of the rhodedendron. Alas also their season is coming to an end.
just wanted to say I have been absent for a few days with my FOTD, but my uploader for photos had down time.
