Photo taken today with my new Sony A7III Mirrorless Full Frame (ILCE-7M3 v2.10). Sony fixed FE-mount 30mm lens.
This quarter inch flower appears to be some sort of dandelion. It is in an outdoor pot and the stems reach nearly 3 feet. This is actually a Nipplewort (Lapsana communis) plant.

Morning Cee, I asked my friend what he thought it was and here is his answer, always adds a bit of humour, he’s a big Monty P fan!!
Hi I saw this earlier and forgot to get back to you.
If it is in a pot, it could be any garden variety. If it has snuck into the pot as so many ‘ruderals ’ do in my garden, then does ‘Cee’ come from Britain ?, if not in Britain it could be anything.
The basics are that it is in the daisy family for definite. You weren’t too far off with ‘dandelion ‘ as they have similar petals (Ray florets I think they are called for daisy family).
We would really need to see the basal leaves to be more certain but there are three really good guesses, based on the thin branching stems with lots of flower buds – which you can google to see if you agree. The first has the best comic value and it is Nipplewort (Lapsana communis) but doesn’t flower until July. Smooth hawks beard (Crepsis capillaris) which has mild comic value if you substitute the first ‘e’ for an ‘a’ (flowers in June). The third, of which there are >260 sub species is hawkweed (Hieracium ).

As has become apparent since i’ve been taking part in this FOTD, I have no clue about flowers aside from what makes a pretty shot, but I don’t think your flower is a dandelion, I’m sure i’ve seen a different colour one of these growing wild in the woods where I live, but as ever I am probably wrong, speedwell rings a bell but probably the wrong bell!

We have dandelions out here (Arizona) that can grow to 6 feet and have tiny flowers and THORNS! You must wear leather gloves to pull them out.
