I have a dianthus in the garden and it has been flowering constantly since I boughtit in April. Love the details in your photo.

Ah, memories. My mother called these (dianthus) “carnation pinks.” I used to pick the heads off and bring them to her when I was a tiny girl. She just thanked me and oohed and aahed and set them in a saucer of water. I think she must have despaired in private over her lovely decapitated flowers.
