Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Open Topic

This week the topic is Open Topic.  Open topic means you can pick your own photos  or show us your favorite black and photos.  

This is a topic you can really have enjoy.   Let’s see how creative you can get.  I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

Upcoming Topics

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

  • Lawn or House Ornaments
  • Lines and Angles
  • Bathrooms / Outhouses
  • Shadows
  • Shoes, Boots, Slippers
  • Anything that Flies

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white
  • Desaturated – very little color tone left in your photo

  29. I have to admit, I’m in love with your pugs. I’ve always liked them because while they are toys, they are pretty solid, sturdy little dogs. Big enough to romp, but small enough to pack in the backseat for a ride. You got one in each color just so you could take cool black & white pictures, right? Just kidding. But they do make a fabulous shot!

    • We got Maddie (black pug) because I wanted to learn how to capture a total black dog,. In this house I always have to fix up the photos. She has way too many loose hair from Digi. Pugs do shed 24/7.
