I’ve seen them in Maryland at the Conowingo Dam and they eat cars, seriously. Anything rubber or plastic makes a hearty snack for them and a nightmare for unwary owners. They also climb all over cars and trucks and scratch the hell out of them. Otherwise they’re a delight.
