Here is my entry for Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge with the topic of Detail.

I adore close up and macro photography because I love the seeing all the detail in things.

  6. You flower macros, especially, are always gorgeous, Cee. I was in the doctor’s office yesterday looking at the flower photos on his walls..….yours would be so much better!

  9. Gorgeous details! I have a macro lens but just don’t seem to have the hang of using it yet. I always seem to get closer shots with my 300 zoom. I know I’m not doing something right. I should really practice.

    • Oh I use my 200 and 300 zoom all the time for macros. Just depends on how close in your really want to go. Just have fun with your photography. I am starting to put together a professional website where I’ll be teaching composition for photography and lenses will be covered.

      • Oh, Cee, please let me know when that site is up. Right now I’m experimenting and learning on my own, (and trying to dig back into 40+ year old knowledge), I would very much like to follow that website and learn more, especially so that I can get more consistently good photos. I’m hoping I can go at my own pace,, so on my less healthy days, I’m not tied into a set schedule. And of course, some things just take longer to learn than others!

  10. I love macro too for the same reasons you do! I recently got a new camera with its own macro lens. Still figuring it out. Your images are nice and sharply focused – my goal as I learn 🙂
