My entry for the week
Oregon is known for it’s trees. We grow them big here.
I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.
Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
Beautiful trees! I’ve seen them in Oregon and also Washington – those huge pine trees are amazing!

The big tall ones are Douglas Fir. 😀

Fantastic tree pics, Cee 😁 The colours in the second photo are great in contrast against the leafless trees 👏 Here’s my take on trees: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2019/08/13/cees-fun-foto-challenge-above-the-trees/

Really beautiful trees, Cee 🙂
Many years ago, I lived in a forest, where we had many imported Douglas Fir. They are amazing trees.

Some great photos here, Cee. Trees are quite a challenge to capture well. I often use them for framing, but capturing them well as the main subject is much harder. I especially like you 1st and 3rd here as there is such playful light.

There are some gorgeous trees in town, but they are so full of overhead wires, it is impossible to capture them. I use trees for framing too. 😀

Very interesting, Cee! I love the detail you were able to capture in the 3rd one looking up into the canopy – I could see every leaf! And you saved the best for last! That tree seemed to have grown top-heavy branches. Is that a particular species that grows like that?

The last one is an octopus tree They really exist. Although this one they trained the lower branches/trunks to grow vertical and then up.

The sunlight highlights on the leaves in the first photo is beautiful. The tree trunks look like part of Nature’s pipe organ.
