I am usually among the first to post on your challenger, basically because that’s often a good time for me to spend at the computer. But I am on holiday at the moment and I was literally sitting in front of my desk, nursing a cup of tea, waiting for you to post 🙂 … I like your flowers but – as I’ve said before, I think – I am always wary of robbing them of their colours. I’ve stayed with inanimate objects. I was in this little town a couple of days ago and remembered to bring the camera: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/08/15/when-life-was-different/

Not all flowers transfer well to black and white. I’m pretty picky about what I post. I got lucky with these photos. 😀

I’m never sure where black & white ends and color begins, but this time, I used something called ‘transparency” that uses some of the original colors, but not all of it. It’s not unlike your last picture, so maybe I’m on the right track. I love that last picture!

I call that desaturated. It can sometimes have a wonderful look. 😀 😀

Such variety in your selection Cee. Hard to pick favourite, but I do especially love the muted bi/colour tones in the last one.
My entry this week is a fanciful little story:
