I just got this post up! I’ve been processing Garry’s pictures all day and I never got around to doing my own! The leaves stayed on the trees, despite the heavy rain and the powerful winds. So it’s still autumn after all!

We’ve been having rain with wind. So the early blooming trees, like dogwoods, the leaves are mostly down.

I just noticed for the first time that my Japanese maple is turning colors. I’ve never noticed this happening before in the 18 years I’ve been here. Could I have overlooked it for all those years? Normally leaves don’t turn here..I can definitely see yours have.
