These “Douglas Fir Trees” in Oregon and also in Washington are really magnificent! I can also see and admire the moss on the second one – Just LOVE them 🙂

I’ve always felt like the grand cathedrals were created to try and give a taste of what it feels like to be in an old growth forest. Your second picture reminded me of that. The immense sense of life and spirit of being in a forest.
