On the Hunt for Joy Challenge: Week 2 – Say Cheese

The topic for this week is “Say Cheese”.  You won’t find me looking through lots of photos of me smiling because I don’t get in front of the camera very often.  Fortunately, for us who are introverts and photographers, the memories and smiles we get from some of our archived photos that brings those “fake it until you feel it” smiles.  So today, find some photos of you smiling and feeling joyful, or find some photos that brings a smile to your face or brings you joy.

Tip from Ingrid Fetell Lee:  Studies show that our expressions can influence our emotions. So when you’re feeling down, try “faking it ‘till you feel it” by smiling, doing laughter yoga exercises, or looking at a photo of yourself taken at a particularly joyful time.

Feel free to use your photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or even better yet grab you camera and take a new photo!  ENJOY and have FUN.

My entry for the week

My little Miss Digi is in the Doggie ICU hospital.  We took her in yesterday after we ate dinner.  She was trying so hard to breathe.  The main thing right now is that she has pneumonia.  So our little girl is on oxygen with IV antibiotics and they are treating her with a nebulizer as well.   We need to call them later this morning to find out if we can take her home today.  It all depends on when she can comfortably breathe on her own.

So needless to say this challenge comes in real handy today.  Here are some photos of Miss Digi that definitely brings smiles to my face and joy in my heart.  Our vet has this photo of Digi on display in his waiting room.

Digi when she had her knee surgery over a year ago.  She didn’t slow down much.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Qi (energy) hugs,

Cee
