Here is my entry for Becky’s for #AprilSquareTops challenge and her topic this month is “Top” and don’t forget the square photo.
I took this photo the other day when Chris took me out for a short ride. I just needed to get out of the house. This is the view from where I get my latte. It was such a pretty day.
This next photo is of the bushes that are on the bottom of the photo. There are black berries on them.
The theme for April Squares is ‘top‘, and we have five idioms, to choose from;
- On Top of the World – summit, crown, peak (tiptop) or uppermost part of something.
- Under the Big Top – topping or covering (or if you are really lucky a circus!)
- Room at the Top – first or highest in position
- Cherry on Top – something made even more wonderful by becoming square
- Top and Tail – or maybe you’d prefer to play around with word combinations such as top dog, top stitch, top hat, top secret, top knot, top drawer or top dollar!
I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

So glad you and your camera got out for a while. Good to escape for a bit . . . and those clouds look almost unreal the way they are hanging in the sky.
PS those berries are intriguing. Did it look as though the birds were eating any?

Wow, aren’t you lucky! That is a very thick patch of blackberries!

It is not blackberries. Blackberries grow wild and are very invasive around here. This bush is an entirely different thing 😀

Great post and lovely pictures! Make me want to get out into the sunshine, except, oh … I can’t! 😂 Actually that’s not strictly true, we can get out to Central Park but today it’s pretty rainy and grim today, and also jolly cold. Lovely post! Katie

We are cool and cloudy today (Oregon). We are allowed to go outside as long as it is safe and you follow the 6 foot rule. The state is in lock down. I really hesitate to go out, even in my own yard. I shouldn’t be afraid in my yard, but for some reason is just seem wrong.

It’s so interesting to hear how other states are faring … we’re in Manhattan so it’s pretty grim! The weather doesn’t help. I’ve never wanted a garden so much! I hope you have a good weekend and stay fit, well and healthy. 💕 Katie
