FOTD – May 17 – Dahlia

I thought I’d post some flowers with some yellow since yellow is such a cheerful color, when I don’t have new flowers to post.

I took this photo on September 12, 2019.  Notice how the yellow bud for this dahlia seem so much more intense than the flower.

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts leaves and berries as well as flowers.

  8. Beautiful Dahlia. I have some small ones and yesterday I pressed the first one of the season. Here’s hoping it presses flat.They keep their beautiful colors through the pressing process.
