Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts leaves and berries as well as flowers.

  35. I love irises. I can’t get enough of the smell of them, it is so sweet and rich…I just dug up a whole bunch of mine and gave them to my neighbor because where I had them planted the deer were eating them as soon as any green showed. I do have more in the yard but I would love a garden of just irises. Years ago my dad went to this garden show and he bought some bulbs. They were so healthy and gorgeous.

    • The scent of irises and me don’t get along. I can live with one or two of them, but it overwhelms me too much. Sorry about the deer eating your iris. 😀
