  1. I thought, that looks just like an Alstroemeria–then looked it up and discovered it was! I’ve never heard that name for it before. Used to be a component in most commercial bouquets, and they were the flowers that lasted the longest, so long as you stripped the dead leaves away. Nice shot.

  3. I love those yellow day lilies. They used to be garden flowers, but now, wind, birds, and maybe a few bees have transplanted them all over the place. You see them along the rivers and sometimes showing up wild in your own garden.
