On the Hunt for Joy Challenge: Put FLOWERS Next to Your Bed

The topic for this week is Put FLOWERS Next to Your Bed.  I don’t put flowers next to my bed, in fact I usually don’t ever have cut flowers around.

So this week’s topic is:

  • Flowers, or
  • Something that boosts your mood in the morning.

I’m excited to see what you come up with for this week.

The next few weeks concentrate on small strategies for healthy habits.

Tip from Ingrid Fetell Lee: Put flowers next to your bed:  True, this one might cost the equivalent of two cups of coffee, but researchers have found that putting flowers near your bed can boost your mood in the morning.

Feel free to use your photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or even better yet grab you camera and take a new photo!  ENJOY and have FUN.

My entry for the week

I am posting some flowers I picked from my garden over the years.  They do brighten my desk in the mornings.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Hi Cee, beautiful flowers. As I’m getting better and have more energy, I plan to paint again. I have a bunch of small canvases that I’d like to paint flowers on. I may come to you for inspiration.

  2. I don’t do flowers on the nightstand either. For one thing, they would fall down the first morning I’d grope for the phone to switch off the alarm… 🙂 Your flower photos are as gorgeous as ever!

Award Free Blog

I appreciate you thinking of me for an award. I have had a lot of fun with awards in the past. I think awards are a fantastic tool to help out people who are just starting their blogging adventure. I've been here awhile now.

My best award is that you somehow still come to visit me when ever you get a chance. It's a thrill and joy to share my photography and life with all of you. Thanks.
