When I wrote you I was actually more emotional than during the entire thing. Guess that’s what being strong is all about. It was a scary time for us.

Not surprised to learn this. At the time it would have been amount survival and looking after each other, only after do we have time for the feelings to come through. Sending hugs, and am in awe of your strength xxx

https://sharonmcconnelredux.wordpress.com/2020/09/20/ftd-pampas-grass-and-blue-sky/ Glad you made it home ok. As smokey as it was here in western Idaho, I can’t imagine how Oregon was.

I left when it was around 300 air quality. While I was gone it went up to nearly 700. I can’t imagine it either. Where are you in Idaho?

Yes, but I probably wouldn’t have been able to see you thru the smoke! We’re in valley that is always slow to clear,

Hope the smoke clears for you soon. We are getting rain the next few days, hopefully that will help.

Lovely, Cee, hope Oregon got some well needed rain. The devastation of the fire in Chiloquin on the 97 was sad to see. Hope you are well and have good news of your home.

We did get some rain. The biggest thing is that the wind has shifted. For the most part it is coming off the Pacific, which keeps most of the smoke away from our house. I hope things settle down for you as well. Take it easy my friend.
