Is it true that the rain on Oregon plains falls mainly on the dahlias?

Oh wouldn’t that be nice. I’ve not gone to the dahlias since I’ve been back. Honestly, I’m afraid to. When the fires were at its worse there was a ban on watering, I don’t know if that meant for businesses or not. 😀

How are things now, did you have any damage?

No fortunately Canby was saved from the fires. Breathing a sigh of relief. Oregon and the West Coast will still have most of the wild fires burning and will most like burn through October. The winds have changed, and that is what saved Canby and our air quality. We are now in an autumn or what we call rainy season (the winds come from the ocean) so the smoke and fires are burning to the east now.

Glad your place was spared, Cee, that the air quality is better, and that there’s rain in at least some places. As for your saying, I do. 🙂

Beautiful thoughts, and hope you do find the beauty still if you do return this autumn to the dahlia fields
