Lens-Artists Challenge #123 – Found in the Neighborhood

Here is my entry for Ann-Christine’s of Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge with the topic of Found in the Neighborhood. It’s been rainy for the past few days, so I did pop outside for a few minutes and take a couple of photos from my driveway.

View across the street from my house as of yesterday.
Maple leaves in my yard.
My front yard covered in wet rainy maple leaves.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Qi (energy) hugs

  1. Leaves are glorious, even fallen ones! Love the close-up. We have rain too, mist and drizzle – and all leaves gone. I agree about 2020 – a tough year. And so I learned a new word again – jipped! Thank you, Cee!

  2. Even the rain can’t dampen my spirits about fall colors. Your maple leaves are gorgeous. You really had a worse 2020 than most because of the horrible fire. The rest of us are pretty equal, but those in fire area suffered the most. I pray that 2021 will be the opposite – great health, no fires, beautiful weather. Have a great weekend, Cee. 🙂

  3. It looks a lot similar to around here! Love the close up of those leaves, but I’d be clearing them off the pathway as wet leaves can be awfully slippery! I’m counting down the days to the winter solstice which is only 4 weeks away, but depressingly that means it will still be dark at 16:30 in 8 weeks time. I am not a fan of winter… 😧

Award Free Blog

I appreciate you thinking of me for an award. I have had a lot of fun with awards in the past. I think awards are a fantastic tool to help out people who are just starting their blogging adventure. I've been here awhile now.

My best award is that you somehow still come to visit me when ever you get a chance. It's a thrill and joy to share my photography and life with all of you. Thanks.
