I used to have a gorgeous clematis, but a tree fell on it. It was gorgeous. Same color as yours, too.

The clematis is one of my favorite flowers. I cut it back every year and worry that I might have killed it, but never fear – it springs back to life in the summer. I’ve had ducks nest in my Clematis and it was even home to some little furry creature that I never quite identified.
