These photos are dedicated to This Jolly Beggar, she posted some of these dahlias yesterday. I told her I would look up the dahlias I had like that. I took these photos in 2009. These dahlias are grown from seeds, rather than tubers.

There’s definitely a difference between tuber and seed grown dahlias but these gorgeous shots are simply transfixing. You’ve convinced me. That inner dahlia can’t be denied! Thanks for sharing, Cee. 💛💛
