The English version is quite different to the American version even though both made by Heinz. i wonder if you would prefer what they make for us

If I recall correctly ours had more vinegar and less sugar

I don’t like anything with vinegar. I have a theory. My mom craved vinegar when she was pregnant with me and she would just drink it out of the bottle. I don’t like tomatoes either, so ketchup and I don’t get along well at all.

Worcestershire I’ve always enjoyed. I usually use horseradish mixed with mayo 😀

ooh what fun, there are so many words that mean different things. We always have to remind ourselves when we come across the pond to make sure we use the right one otherwise we can end up in some much trouble!!

Brilliant! BTW, I am loathe to mention him, but it is so topical. Did you know that the founder of Heinz’ ketchup was the son of German immigrants to the US from a little town in the Palatium, Kallstadt. Another immigrant to the US left the same town a few years later and his grandson became an orange-tinged no. 45.
