That Ablaut thingy is actually a bit more complicated and Ablauts are mainly discussed in different words or word forms (i.e. swim swam swum / give gave given) etc. But fair enough – except that there is not word “Quitschquatsch” in German – Quatsch (nonsense) does exist, but not Quitschquatsch. Krimskrams and Wirrwarr exist, though. Sorry – I think I am just too much of a teacher at heart 😉

  12. Oh, Cee, I hope you get points for how long someone stays on your blog. I watched all but the last few minutes and the few times I had to get up and blow my nose because I was laughing so hard! My husband was sitting next to me wondering what in the world was wrong with me. Thanks for the great laughs. I haven’t laughed that hard since I was a kid! 🙂
