Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts leaves and berries as well as flowers.
See more Flowers photos on my Pinterest page.
We took a short drive around town to see some of the ice storm damage. We saw these daffodils. Aren’t they pretty.

These next two photos are of our local park. Here is some of the damage from the storm. Our entire town looks like this. If you had deciduous trees, they were damaged, some were a lot, others not so much.

I would appreciate you continuing to post your entries on my daily post entries. If you need more information here is a link to my FOTD page.
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.
Qi (energy) hugs

Great that the daffys survived the ice storm, it’s summer here.

Hi Cee, I forgot to link my Sunday Stills post from yesterday, so I’ll add it here. What a huge amount of damage, Cee. Again, I’m glad you are OK. https://secondwindleisure.com/2021/02/14/sunday-stills-color-challenge-a-rosy-outlook/

We are glad too. Now the clean up begins …. after another day’s rest though.

Folks have gone through a lot, first fires, now an ice storm. You can see the devastation in the photos. Daffodils, as always, merry with hope.

Flowers should be ok. Trees not necessarily. I’m worried about the orchards around here. We drove by one yesterday and they hardly had any branches left on the trees.

Wow. A lot of damage, yet still the daffodils will grow. Nice to see nature fighting back.

I love the Daffodils showing resilience to the destruction. Oh those poor trees but I guess a prune before spring might be good 🙂 🙂

Hi AC, we are fine, exhausted. Finally when out in our backyard and the part of the tree that came down was massive. We are so lucky.

Ice storms are the worst! I’m happy to hear that you’re doing ok now. Usually we only get ice, but this time it’s gotten so cold (in the negatives) that we’ve only gotten snow for a change. Can’t wait for spring!

Oh I am so ready for spring, as are you. 😀 😀 Glad you are getting snow and not a lot of ice.
