Lens-Artists Challenge #138: Natural Light

Here is my entry for Amy of Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge with the topic of Natural Light. 99% of my floral photography is taken in natural light. I take them either in flower fields, my own yard or other places where I can photograph them in their natural state. I will often shade the flowers with my own body to stop sun burn out, but every once in a while photograph them with the sun shining.

Wisteria along my fence.
Lily in my backyard.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Do you ever bring home any Dahlias? I find it almost impossible to pull up a living flower these days. 🌻

  2. Beautiful colors under the sunlight. I love how you captured the shadow, fence, and the lovely color of the Wisteria. Fabulous, Cee!

  3. Ah, my daily dose of joy, Cee! Glosrious colours and flower photos! And as I love wisteria (you have it in your yard!), you really made my day shine too!

    • They are right under my office window. I get the best view, when I open my window and just take photos. I don’t have a screen in that window, so I can do it. πŸ˜€

  4. I think everyone loved the wisteria the most. I think you put your best foot forward with the the dual-toned dahlia. What a beauty! πŸ™‚

  5. What a way to start the day looking at these gorgeous colorful delights! The wisteria is a marvel..lily is enchanting..and the Dahlia just glows under nature’s care. Happy to stop by
