Here is my entry for Amy of Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge with the topic of Natural Light. 99% of my floral photography is taken in natural light. I take them either in flower fields, my own yard or other places where I can photograph them in their natural state. I will often shade the flowers with my own body to stop sun burn out, but every once in a while photograph them with the sun shining.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Do you ever bring home any Dahlias? I find it almost impossible to pull up a living flower these days. 🌻

They do have fresh cut flowers, but I rarely if ever get any. It’s much easier to go photograph them in the fields. 😀

Beautiful colors under the sunlight. I love how you captured the shadow, fence, and the lovely color of the Wisteria. Fabulous, Cee!

When we moved to Oregon, it’s the first time I saw wisteria and simply fell in love with it 😀

They are right under my office window. I get the best view, when I open my window and just take photos. I don’t have a screen in that window, so I can do it. 😀

Nice collection of floral colors. That lily is my favorite image, followed by the dahlia (but then I am partial to lilies of the field. ) >grin<

I think everyone loved the wisteria the most. I think you put your best foot forward with the the dual-toned dahlia. What a beauty! 🙂

You’re welcome. BTW., Nutters got a toenail clip this morning. I missed one or two, but it will help. I’m not brave enough to get Moji into it yet. Thanks for the tip. 🙂
