Love the cormorants – I’ve been trying to get photos of the local ones but all I get is black blobs. The details of the feathers is gorgeous…

It seems that everyone that gets great a great shot of birds say they were lucky. But my experience of trying to take bird shots tells me there is a whole lot more than ‘luck’ involved!

When I’m taking birds, I figure 90% get deleted. 😀 Although there are times I only have time to get one or two shots and they are good to great and those I consider lucky 😀

Mine are almost 100% deleted – unless I want an example of how NOT to take a word photo!

I delete them too. Although I should actually keep more than I do, since from time to time I’ll do a “teaching” post. LOL

I was looking for a similar cormorant shot but none had been so obliging as to have six at once. Love the bird houses as well.
