Last year after Covid lockdown, I posted what I called Pick Me Ups. They are inspirational quotes with one my photos that I design. Anyhow, I’m needing to keep myself uplifted and thought I would start creating pick me ups again. I’m going to be starting with a theme of happiness. I know it is a state of mind. I’ve been extremely fortunate live a happy life and look for the joy. I’ve been accused of always looking on the brightside. I so cherish this trait in me.
I felt so happy to find kites like this flying in the air a couple of weeks ago.

I just got a little down, because yesterday there was way too many people for me to feel safe at the tulip fields. So my dreams of being in the fields got dashed. Looks like the Iris gardens will be closed too. It’s going to be another long summer without a lot of flowers for me. Good thing my archives are deep 😀

I live in a unique place. We have flower farms galore around here. That’s where I get 90% of my flowers. I get to walk the fields or gardens and take them in the fresh air on still growing. I had a dream when I was 6 years old where I was lying in a field of flowers. Guess I was meant to move here and capture their beauty. 😀

I used to love buying a kite kit when I was a kid. Putting it together, then putting it in the air was a thrill. How high can I get it? Joyous!

I remember when I was young I had a kite or two, but don’t really remember it much. I do like watching kites fly though 😀
