Since finding your blog, Cee, I’ve learned to Love Dahlias so much – thank you!
It’s not just your beautiful photography, i’m sure; they are the most amazing flowers, too!

They are amazing flowers and come in so many different varieties. They are also very photogenic as far as I am concerned. I’m blessed, the town I live has the largest dahlia farm in North America. 😀 😀

Blessed indeed! I have to say, I do now appreciate how varied and beautiful they are – but I know it’s not just the flowers themselves – you could photograph anything and it would look amazing! 🙂

September is the time to see the dahlias. They are spectacular. Individual plants can grow taller than an average person. And just think they are in my town 😀

You are stuck on Dahlias and I am stuck on all the lovely flowers in my dining room. It being Garry’s birthday today, his brothers sent flowers. A rather big hydrangea plant that we hopefully can plant outdoors next weekend. If the frosts at night finally ends, there will be planting!
I may try growing a couple of dahlias in my window box on the deck. They are annuals anyway and they are so beautiful. Too delicious to miss!

Happy Birthday to Garry.
So the dahlias you would get are grown by seed. The dahlias I take for the most part are grown from tubers. You would be way too cold for them. 😀

Ditto what Emma said, Cee – through your dahlia photos, I’ve developed a passion for them myself! And this dahlia definitely fits the “bright” theme!
