Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts leaves and berries as well as flowers.
I took this photo on Wednesday April 28 in my garden.
I would appreciate you continuing to post your entries on my daily post entries. If you need more information here is a link to my FOTD page.
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

By the way, I forgot to say how beautiful your purple wisteria is. I wish we could smell it!

It is tucked away near a wood pile, so it’s hard to get to in my yard. The wisteria is courtesy of our neighbor. When I was out I could smell it as well as the lilac beside it 😀

I love the smell of lilac too. We had a huge lilac bush in CA.

I’m surprised they grew in California 😀

It was huge! But once it was done blooming. It was done!

Colorado grew lilacs really well. Out here they aren’t nearly as beautiful. Maybe we don’t get enough sun typically here in Oregon. 😀

When I lived in Beaverton (townhome/rowhome) when we first moved to Oregon, we had maybe 40 feet of them. Talk about gorgeous.

It’s easy to see why the Ancient Greeks planted wisteria around their temples. 😺

My first child was a very difficult birth and I came home from the hospital laying down in the back. It was early April and the wisteria in Georgia was in full bloom. So now my son and I have a challenge of who get the fisrt picture of it to share.
