Here is my entry for Scillagrace this week’s cohost of Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge with the topic of Getting to Know You.
This is a photo I took in 2013 of the matron, Margaret, of the family owned Swan Island Dahlia. She has since passed, but I can remember several of the conversations we had over the years. She would walk around and just sit down and start talking to you like you were her best friend. She talked about whatever was going on at the dahlia farm. One day I remember we had a huge conversation about their koi ponds. She was always a delight.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee

– Sure we’re all looking forward to lockdown lifting further so we can ‘get to know’ more people as we used to! Your images are a lovely reminder of how precious that is.

It is precious. Our connection to other people is so important to us. That is partly why I like blogging so well. 😀
