When I lived in Portland, I’d grouse about rhodies being common and overused. Then they’d bloom, and I’d remember why they were common and overused. They’re so lovely.

Mine are in bloom now too. One bloomed really early and is done. And others are starting. They’re all in the same spot too! Interesting🙂

The red and white ones tend to bloom earlier here than the other colors. 😀

When we rented a house, it had a Rododendron bush of about 7 feet – loved it! The red cones I don’t know the name of, but I think it’s an African flower. Thanks for hosting, Cee

I have never seen rhododendrons that color before. I didn’t know they came in red! Amazing!

They also come in dark purple. Those are even rarer to see 😀
