Pick Me Up and WQWWC #24 Beauty

Here is my entry for Marsha’s WQWWC (Writer’s Quotes Wednesday) #24.

This is a photo I a few years ago at Schreiner’s Iris Gardens.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. I love the quote and the photo, Cee. Plant your own garden and decorate your soul. Isn’t that what we are doing with our blogs? Our blogs are sort of like gardens. We grow beautiful things in them, attract people to come see them, and make some amazing friends in the process. You got your purple irises. Perfect. 🙂

            • Beauty and feeding the soul is so different with all of us. Part of your beauty is writing and storytelling as well as photography. We each find our own.

              • Yes, although we also each have a story to tell. When you write, your beauty comes out, but that is not your main love just like cooking is not mine. Vince told me once that I did not like to cook. I argued with him. He said, “If you liked to cook, you would cook. It wouldn’t matter if anyone wanted to eat it or not, you would just cook.” That is so true. My friend’s daughter loves to cook. She sends food to my friend when ever she tries something new. We all look forward to it. Usually it is fabulous, but it wouldn’t matter because Melinda just HAS to cook. She works as a cook and she comes home and cooks.
