That Japanese maple is a lovely, rich colour. We have a similar one, but I chose a different plant for this challenge. https://sueswordsandpictures.wordpress.com/2021/06/02/june-close-up-for-cmmc/

You are SO lucky to have a Japanese Maple. I can only dream of growing one of those.
I also love your photography challenges. Well done you for inspiring others to get creative with their cameras.

Oh thanks so much for your wonderful comment. When we moved in this house (8 years ago), the Japanese Maple was only a twig about 4 feet high. It’s been fun watching it grow. 😀

Hi Cee, I love the tree. It doesn’t even look like a tree at first glance! I haven’t done my sit at home and shoot anything shots, but your bread picture inspires me. Here are some of my first Sony shots. I think they turned out extremely well for automatic, no-fuss shots. Hope you enjoy these, too. https://alwayswrite.blog/2021/06/03/cmmc-closeup-arizona-flowers/

I had great fun with this one, Cee. Perfect for where I am on a beautiful June day. I have another one that didn’t fit into where my mind went with this post but is too pretty not to post this week. I have it scheduled for tomorrow.
